Here at Chess Gorilla, we are always on the lookout on ways to improve our chess community. We always are working on new products. Right now, we have some exciting projects in the lab that could change the landscape of our industry. Can we give you the specifics? No way. But we can tell you a little without spilling the bananas...
- New and Improved Chess Notation system. This is in the Beta test version right now. If you are part of the test group you know how this will change the habitat of the chess world. It is an EASY and CHEAP way of making notation easier to use and implement in all aspects of chess...from teaching to tournaments and even helping on the TD side. If everything keeps on going right...we will have this on the market for the spring of 2023.
- Break Board. Innovative new way to use solid chess boards and make them cost efficient, transportable, and available for all levels of player. Timeline to market: Spring of 2024.
- Chess Clock for the Masses. Chess clocks are horribly complicated for the beginning player. We aim to develop a chess clock that is easy to use, affordable for everyone, and made to take a pounding. Timeline to market: Spring of 2024.
- Framed Canvases - Fischer Photographs from the 1963-64 Simul Tour - We were lucky enough to buy 18 photos of the Fischer Simul/Lecture from 1963-64. We are offering these as framed canvases in a limited run of 100 pieces per print. These photos were taken by the professional photographers at Kodak during the event. Kodak was so worried about bad pictures, they banned anyone other than the pros of taking pics of the event. A stunning time capsule of almost 60 years ago!
